1969 Topps Basketball Rulers Complete Set Alcindor West 534864

Here's a rarely offered set - the 1969-70 Topps Basketball Rulers. It features the NBA's biggest stars in a special limited insert set. They are 2-1/2" x 9-7/8" full color drawings of the stars. Includes all 23 rulers (#5 was never issued). Very nice condition - PSA graded: Alcindor (Jabbar) PSA 1, Havlicek PSA 2, Chamberlain PSA 3, Frazier PSA 3 (mark on back), West PSA 3 mc. I'm usually a big fan of PSA and other grading companies but someone used odd standards (or something) on grading these cards. The Alcindor, Robertson, Havlicek all look EX-MT to me - nice corners, no creasing, Chamberlain looks nice but has a tiny crease lower right. I think the graders did not realize that these come a bit unevenly cut by the way they were printed - who knows? Anyway, these display beautifully and are plenty tough.
